TUTORING
I teach mathematics and physics, primarily for GCSE, iGCSE, A-level and International Baccalaureate examinations.
Although the majority of my teaching takes place after school hours, I also teach during the working day for people who are available - such as A-level students who have study periods.
I teach remotely using video conferencing, a virtual white-board and my website. For one-to-one tutoring, I also teach face-to-face at my house.
I particularly enjoy teaching students who are struggling with the subject, as this is where I can make the most difference.
In my experience, the most successful students are usually the ones who have completed the most example questions. Therefore, I strongly recommend that my students complete the homework that I set in order to improve as quickly as possible.
FEES
I offer a free trial lesson for both my one-to-one and group lessons. After this, my fees (per hour, per student) are as follows:
# Students in lesson     | |
1 | £60 (working day, A-level free periods) |
1 | £90 (evenings & weekends) |
3 to 6 | £30 |
Places in a group are limited to six to ensure students receive individual attention.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Please note that lessons cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice will be charged in full. If I have to cancel a lesson, I will do my best to reschedule it to a time as close as possible to the original.
DISCLAIMERS
Tutoring is one of the most effective ways to build confidence and improve performance. I always work hard to help a student achieve their goals but I am unable to give any guarantee of achieving a particular exam grade or other desired outcome.
